What is NLP Coaching?
NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming. NLP is the relationship between our mind and how we think (neuro), how we use language and how it affects us (linguistic) and how we sequence our actions to achieve our goals (programming). As your NLP Coach, I will empower you and keep you on track every step of the way in a friendly and non-judgemental manner. NLP is a model of excellence whereby you will achieve remarkable results.
How does it work?
All goals are generated by values (what is important to us). There will always be a core value behind every goal we want to achieve. More often than not, it is a different value to which we initially believe it to be. I will be able to draw this out from within you during the first session.
Be prepared to change.
In order to achieve an outcome it is necessary to make changes. In making a change, other changes will follow as we are ecological beings. Everything we do will have a knock on effect onto something else. If we are unwilling to make changes then it is difficult for us to grow and evolve into who we are or what we want. By being honest with ourselves with what we are willing to change, we can begin to assemble a coaching framework to work from.
During your NLP coaching sessions you will realise how hugely important our language is in how we communicate, not only to others but to ourselves. Everytime we say a word it opens up a whole spectrum of internal representations therefore it is useful to frame the words correctly. You will learn how to do this with NLP Coaching.
As you work towards your goal you will learn many NLP techniques which you can use in everyday life. From my perspective, NLP Coaching is as much about the journey as it is about the destination. During your coaching you can find yourself wanting even more out of life and end up thinking “What’s next?”
